it has been so fun! walking along the streets of places not in singapore without family, exploring the different places and train lines, deciding where to go, rushing for trains, shopping and spending loads of money, trying to bargain, buying things in bulk simply because the stuff there are too cheap, complaining about water that dripped from dunno where, fighting to pay money, sneaking in 5 people to a hotel room, running while holding hands at night because we wanted to buy very cheap stuff, spotting spelling mistakes, speaking chinese more accurately, eating snacks and drinking loads of yuanyang, etc etc.
shall blog on a day-to-day basis again.=)
slept at 1230 and woke up at 3am on the first day. was still super drained from friday's activities. but of cos there was still the excitement - yay the day has finally come!=P

weizhao, ethel and i at our super nice eating place. they have very good dishes! i think we went there thrice during our whole trip. heh.
stuff at beijing lu weren't cheap. and we were being so careful with our bags throughout the whole time cos there were just so many people around, and we have all heard about how scary the place can be.=X
our hotel wasn't very ideal cos of the super old facilities. but i guess for its price, it's not TOO bad lar.
that concludes my account for day 1.=)
