the last week was crazy:
- didn't sleep at all on monday night cos of flag on tuesday and slept for at most a few hours on the days after that
- tightened my braces on tuesday morning so didn't eat much thereafter until today cos somehow my teeth was quite painful the whole week
- something in my left foot was quite painful so i can't exert much force on my left foot for the whole week = couldn't walk properly
but i guess surviving it makes it all the more memorable (just like obs). i can't say i put in a lot of effort for rag. i wasn't totally committed (maybe that's cos i didn't have any really close friend doing it with me), so rag to me was like some kind of burden. esp when i heard of so many people saying i'm slack etc. i became kinda disillusioned after a while.
after the period of disilluionment came the period of chiong-ing cos i was thinking, 'heck lar. so what if they think i'm slack. at least i have to remain 问心无愧'.
as i watched the presentation with the float, i really almost teared. all 6 weeks of effort for 7 mins of 精彩. many people told us how nice our float looked. i can't describe how much i agree with them. it's like watching the fruits of your labour. it's not that the other floats weren't nice, it's just that after seeing the amount of effort put in by your fellow raggers, it'd be nice no matter what.
i learnt a lot about bizad during the entire rag period, from brent, from ritchie, and the many seniors who came down to help. it's always nice to see so many old people being so enthu about such stuff. and of cos, there's a fair share of conflicts. 6 weeks of staying together is no joke. you see the horrible sides of people, and you also realise there are just some people you can nv be close friends with.
i really liked the medicine presentation too. it's not just cos i have a lot of friends involved, but at least we could tell how much effort they put in for the entire show.
and on a separate note, i'm so touched that so many of the black rose people came down to help out during the last week, staying over, not sleeping the entire night etc. i guess black rose is really one of the best things that happened to me during the 3-month break. seeing hsienyao and dennis becoming red gloves, then amelia getting into pageant, sometimes you really feel the pride as seniors. i feel so much like keeping them together all the time, but that's being overly possessive. but it's sad when you know that it's hard to always keep in touch. and as school starts, we might even slowly drift apart. ah well.
slept for like 13 hours last night. woke up, ate my lunch, and went back to sleep for another 3 hours. knelt on the grass for photo taking after our win. ended up with rashes on both knees. sigh. having a grass allergy is bad..=( and i stupidly lost my voice. luckily i didn't lose it before rag, or that'd be so sad.

end of my second major commitment after stardust. i'm left with ibiza, and i shall retire after that.
and congrats to my buddy DAVID CHAN for being PRESIDENT SCHOLAR! to shin bin too.=) i'm seriously proud of him.
three-month break is over...=( time to get down to real school work, which somehow, i'm quite looking forward to that.
