went for matriculation on monday. met ja and after that xinling to walk around. i'm totally not tempted to join any cca at all, seriously. i know uni life is very important cos well, employers dun just look at academic, but i somehow feel like focusing on my studies for once. i've always placed so much emphasis on my school life that i've been neglecting my studies. and somehow i feel like doing the opposite now. maybe it was the lesson i learnt when i got back my A levels results.
waited SOOO long with xinling till about 3.30 to meet my og (really glad she pei wo until so late. if not i'll really be super lonely and lost lar), and i was the ONLY freshie, excluding the councillors, who turned up.-_-. really had a very very bad impression of my og. the whole meeting was like directed at the councillors, and basically cos they already know each other, it's damn sian. was complaining to bro all the way lar.
after the meeting went orchard to meet bro for secret, the movie! the one that jay chou scripted, directed and acted in. it's really not bad lar. the twist was quite refreshing. and the scenes were so simple but yet so sweet - chu lian de gan jue! i like chinese movies cos they are usually simple and easy-to-understand. i like simplicity lar. and it's a premiere so basically i watched it one week before it starts showing (it hasnt even started showing as of the time i blogged). heh. bro didn't really understand the meaning of some of the stuff, and it was just so funny when i was trying to explain them to him. haha.
planned to meet jun after the movie for supper, but in the end she couldn't.=X felt so bad. bonkie said she gave up jay for jun, but i chose jay instead of jun.=X
next day was talks day. i was told to meet at 10am, in the end the rest met at 9.30 and i came 'late'.=X a case of bad comm again lar. during the course of the day, i so felt like improving so many things that could be better. councillor-syndrome? maybe. the people there just make oweek feel so redundant - that if you didnt go for foc, that means you wont get to know people at all. shouldnt be the way isnt it. hai.
the theme for oweek is the concept of prison break. heh same as tripod!=) so interesting. so that made me wear the tripod shirt on the next day.=P
then fri was sort of games day. two groups combined and we have 5 people! oh ho. others had 20 plus you know. so we were desperately trying to find people. think in the end they got a lot of raggers in. and our og actually became rather huge. thank goodness the raggers were so enthu and we actually won quite a few games.=) after that we had bbq dinner which was ok lar i suppose, but they provided so lil food that all the ogs had to go out to buy more food. saw ja and we both complained to each other. heh. didnt want to stayover so left early with bro.
so funny. bro's friend edwin saw me on thurs. it was so coincidental. cos i wanted to ask around for directions to the sr. i turned around and saw him, so i just asked him. then he asked me for my name. when i told him my name, he stared at me for a while, then asked, "are you norman's sister?". i was quite shocked lar. but turned out i think he went to check out my name on some list so he knew who i was! after that, the next day, bro's other friens whom he introduced to me said they went around in an lt shouting my name hoping i would respond!=X good thing i wasnt there, if not it'd be sooo paiseh! haha. but his fren's are really very nice and friendly people lar. feel so much at ease with them than with my own og. or maybe it's cos my bro's always there. heh.
sat was sentosa day. went with bro to harbourfront to meet his og. then met my og and went to tanjong beach. i guess the games were quite ok lar. we merged with another og to play the games. all dirty/wet games lar basically, but quite fun. but i was damn pissed with one particular og. we were playing dodgeball, then i was one of the few people left in the playing field. someone from the opposite side threw a soapy and sandy sponge on my FACE lar. wth. no apologies somemore. i was damn pissed lar seriously. they asked us to do a combined cheer and i was SOOO reluctantly. talk about sportsmanship man. wah lau eh.
after the games was lunch and the lunch was horrible as usual. saw my bro getting dunked twice which was super funny lar. then it was a game called whistle if you think i'm sexy, which was simply amusing and entertaining. super self sacrificial i must say. gosh. then was inter-clan games which we lost one and won one - the human daidee! haha. our cards were good lar. haha.
that concluded our sentosa day. we started planning dunking people, and in the end i got dunked (or more like PUSHED) into the sea by someone i didnt even know! well he was in our group but i dun even know his name.=X thought nobody would dunk me cos i wasnt even doing anything. i was just being super neutral. haha. ah well. getting dunked is rather fun sometimes. our group started taking super random photos which were super time-consuming. doreen left before the photo-taking so it was just super sian. felt so off once again. hai. so escaped immediately after the photos. could have stayed for dinner, but seriously i would rather follow my bro to his og's dinner, which i eventually did. their og is SOOO funny lar. the convos were amusing. i so envy his og. at least it's not a ddp og with sooo many people not turning up, and with the people being so on the wrong frequency as me.=X

quite a boring day today. didnt even do much. ok applied for my tertiary ez-link card. deposited money into my pathetic account. watched a lot of chao ji xing guang da dao. their singing is really good! compared to singapore's lar. =)
tmr will be rather boring i guess. will go for the bazaar in the morning, zao during lunch, go paragon with bro then come home watch campus.=) bro is considering lasik. hmm it's a cheaper rate for nus students, but still. dun think i'll do it anytime soon lar.
i just hope uni life can get better...
