had wanted to post an entry specially for jun on her bday, but didnt get the chance to.=X
jun, really really REALLY wanna thank you for staying beside me for the past 6 years that we knew each other. until now, i still cant imagine what my life would be like if i hadnt met you back in sec 2. from gb, to buckle, to council, to khao lak, to tripod, you have given me tremendous support and encouragement. you have taught me so many so many things in life and shown me what is true love as a friend. there were so many obstacles laid in your path but yet you overcame everything with courage and faith. you know, everyone simply loves you for who you are, because they know you have shown them love. even though we're so so different, even though our views may conflict, even though we're leading extremely different lives now, even though we'll be living in different parts of the world in the very near future, we both know that the other would always be there for each other. i'm really glad and feel so lucky to have known you as a friend.
and though it might be super late, i just wanna say, HAPPY (belated) 19th BIRTHDAY!! really hope you like the surprise and the present that i planned and bought for you.=)
jun's bday was quite exciting.=) met jun on tues after my dental. went pizza hut and ate the new cheesy pizza (or whatever the name is). talked for quite a short while cos she had to leave for dental. so i left for home and then to tuition.
now here comes the exciting part. after tuition, i went to orchard mrt to meet the rest (which was fewer than i expected), then left for jun's place. by the time we got to jun's house, she was about to reach home already! after some discussions, we decided to just all stay in her tv room, and switch off the lights. when she came back and her sister brought her to the room, we switched on the lights and she got a shock! i was really quite glad cos that means all my smses and planning didnt go down the drain! during our lunch together, she was still saying that her mum cooked the food meant for tripod closing on the wrong day! i was secretly laughing in my heart, but of cos i had to act shocked.=P thank goodness she didn't suspect anything. not bad huh my planning?=) my plan didnt really succeed last year, so at least it did this year!=D heh. kk i'm getting too ego here.=P must thank her family, esp her younger sis whom i liaised with, and of cos her mum for cooking the food. and of cos thank those who came down to the surprise party! somehow the party became a mini-gathering for the 25ths and 24ths, and to a much smaller extent, 26ths. heh.
