it's been a long time since i last came to any amusement parks. my parents never liked amusement parks, and so our holiday plans never ever consisted of amusement parks. i loved how the queues were all quite short, probably cos we went on a wednesday, and i loved how all the rides were designed so nicely. there were the non-scary ones, where we went underground to look at fairy tales stuff, and of cos there were also the scary ones which i didn't dare to take two of them. and the stuff are all so friendly! they seemed to take pride in the things they do - one of them went "BOO" just to scare us and another took effort to talk to us, seeing that we aren't danish.
at the end of tivoli, i felt so queasy cos we took too many circular-motion rides consecutively. but i felt proud of myself for conquering most of the rides. i felt so horrible that i tried to chiong home as i cycled back (yes i rented a bike to move around cph more easily. a daily metro pass/bus ride costs $5.80 each, it's totally not worth it). got lost in the end and had to check my map a few times in the strong winds. came back and just collapsed in my bed and slept for 11 hours. i even skipped class after that cos i was really very tired.

The Star Flyer - one of my favourite rides. even though the height was scary, but you could really see the whole city as we were spinning. wanjou and i just kept laughing on top.

look at the Golden Tower. it brings you to a height, counts up to 5 secs, and then suddenly drop you. i didn't even dare to take it. i think i'll get a heart attack. haha.
the Vertigo. not sure whether it's clear enough here, but anyway, it basically turns 360 degrees while you're on the 'plane' and it's at least 15 rounds. supposedly the scariest ride in tivoli. i didn't take this too.

zoe and i on one of the rides. it's very fun! they just keep turning you around in high speeds. wanjou and kevin were afraid of getting giddy, so they didn't take this..
i can't remember what this is called, but possibly one of the most boring out of everything else.
the tracks for The Demon. it's quite a scary roller coaster ride, that goes 360 and twists a lot. not that scary though, cos it was going too fast, so i didn't really feel the scaryness...
can't really see here, but this ride is called The Dragon. this is the MOST scary ride i've ever taken. it's similar to the Cadbury one in escape theme park, but it's like 100 times scarier. the thing just keeps swinging you everywhere, make you turn 360, then goes at a speed i just can't open my eyes to see where i was. yes my eyes were closed 80% of the time, and i just couldn't stop screaming. i was beside elaine who was beside kevin. i kept screaming and shouting "i'm giving birth" and "my innards are coming out". then kevin apparently shouted "mummy" and "i surrender", so elaine was kept amused the whole ride.
we had 3 batches of torture (we highly suspect the person controlling purposely extended one more), at the end of the 2nd batch, we stopped right in front of the controller, who gave us this VERY sinister face. omg. but i really felt proud of myself for surviving that ride.
immediately after the Dragon, we took this ride. while queueing, i already felt like puking from the after-effects of the Dragon. so after this ride, i felt even worse. cos it just keeps rotating and rotating and rotating...
