sweden! back on monday...

we haven't been doing much in the week cos lessons have started, and so we couldn't explore a lot of places. but i still feel quite relaxed and free over here. i think the pace of life is so much slower, and i dun feel as stressed during lessons or something (maybe also cos the lessons are considerably easier than those in singapore. haven't even learnt anything new in the entire week.)

i'm kinda getting used to the life here. i wake up every morning, forgetting that i'm in a foreign land. i'm not homesick yet, though some of my friends are. some of them are skyping everyday, while i've only spoken to my mum on msn once. maybe it's the way i am, i dun like to rely on others, so i end up trying to solve everything myself, including hand-washing all the clothes i have instead of using the washing machine, cos well, i can't find where the laundry place is. haha!

the air is super dry here though. my body is getting unknown rashes here and there, and my skin is peeling from the dryness. hopefully it gets better as my body gets more acclimatized to the weather here.

and having a fridge in your room is both good and bad. i bought so many more stuff, including drinks and fruits to store inside my fridge. at least i make sure i eat more fruits, but well, i tend to overeat as a result. my friends also put their stuff inside my fridge, come to my place for dinner, etc. too bad our dinner still consists of instant noodles (if we cook ourselves) and pizzas, bread etc. maybe we'll 'upgrade' soon once we get sick of these stuff.

I'M GOING TO SWEDEN TMR (malmo and stockholm)! it's quite exciting, though i feel rather unprepared. i think maybe being in a foreign land, you dun feel that excited when you go overseas, cos well, you're still overseas after all. but i think travelling is quite addictive. even now when only 1+ weeks have passed since i left s'pore, i already feel like 7 weeks is not enough. we're not even going to half the european countries. but well i shall be contented.

i'm guessing there'll be quite a lot of photos when i come back, so i better post the photos from ytd first!=) you'll see them in the next post!
